Removal of Flux Residues - FERROUS METALS - Flux residues can be removed with a hot water wash and mechanical cleaning with a wire brush On certain applications – due to the workpiece, size or shape – it may be necessary to use a weak solution (5%) of hydrochloric acid. COPPER ALLOYS - Use 10-15% sulphuric acid solution. Aluminium ALLOYS - Immerse work piece in a 10-20% caustic soda solution for aproximately one minute PLEASE NOTE When using chemicals ensure that all parts are thoroughly washed after treatment
